On my drive home from work I was running a bunch of dinner possibilities through my head. Not really being up to cooking tonight I was going to offer my parents the idea that we go out as my treat. When I got home no one was there yet so I called to see where my parents were and what they were up to. Unfortunately, I was informed that they had had a late lunch and wouldn’t be eating again today, so it looks like I will end up being on my own for dinner tonight, but I’m still glad I made the offer, maybe another night we can all go out. Today’s random act of kindness: extending an offer.

After coming home from work I was preparing to order some takeout for dinner. Being an odd time of day I thought to ask my parents if they would want anything before I made the order. They ended up declining as they had just eaten, but I’m glad I asked before I ordered way too much food, and I know they appreciated the thought as well. Today’s random act of kindness: extending an offer.
Progress has being made! Officially caught up on random acts of kindness. Now just have to stay on track while continuing to work on making this into a great year. Happy belated St. Patrick’s day everyone, now that I think of it.
