I have heard from some allo people that they don’t like kissing despite being allo and liking other aspects of romantic/sexual relationships, so sometimes it is definitely a personal preference
It seems it does depend on each person. Thanks for the input!

I LOVE this dynamic. Jon decides he wants more fluff? cocoon nap. He decides he wants MORE arms? Cocoon nap. Spine fucked up from leaning over to read too much? cocoon nap.
world is just Too Much and he wants a break? oh no i need a cocoon nap it seems, i’ll see you in half a week.
Jon has a small but very soft stuffed animal collection. And they're not from when he was a kid, either, he just really likes soft squishy things and buys them for himself sometimes. He cuddles his stuffed animals while listening to the radio. He loses his apartment while he's in the coma, and assumes that his stuffed animals are gone with the rest of his possessions. But the first time he's at Martin's place he goes to get something from Martin's bedroom and finds them all there.
martin Saved them!!! jon also had one (1) snuck away in his desk at the archives so he could snuggle it if he was having a Bad Time
Hey, no need to publish this or anything but I just wanted to let you know that you reblogged a post about moana that included i-want-cheese (a white terf)'s explanation of an important scene in the movie. A lot of polynesian people felt that i-want-cheese's interpretation of maui and moana was racist and i-want-cheese blocked a lot of people rather than admit that making men of color out to be violent is not the best idea.
aw beans, thanks for letting me know, I didn’t realise at first!!!

Crowley learns to paint nails so that he has an excuse to hold aziraphale's hand for like an hour, but when he's done aziraphale who has the same idea is like 'can i do urs' and so they paint each other's nails once a week for a year until one day adam calls to ask them something and they have a really long conversation with him and realize at the end of it that they've both been holding hands for no reason the whole time
if you’ve never watched supernatural you also need to know that the angel banishing sigil is drawn completely differently almost every single time
sometimes there are five sigils around a central circle, sometimes three, sometimes there’s nothing outside the central circle, sometimes the middle symbol gets weird curves that only show up in one episode, pieces flip orientation, it’s infuriating and I have yet to see anyone make sense of why this is the case
pulling this out of the original post because it was getting long, and this is veering several degrees off the original... :P
I think the sigils around the edge of the circle aren’t as critical as the central figure:
with variations that often vary due to the need for haste in creating them. Most of the time when you need to banish an angel, you kinda need to do it RIGHT TF NOW, you know? Like Cas banishing Zachariah with this hastily scrawled mess in 4.22:
Putting the rest of this under a cut, because whoa nellie, loads of images:
Like, in 5.01, Dean had prepared this one in advance, but he still only used a few of the border glyphs:
It’s hard to see in this cap, but I swear the central sigil is the same. oh wait, here’s a better one:
Sam even managed to get most of these drawn before Casifer almost got Dean in the bunker back in 11.14:
Sam draws this in 13.01 and it works to banish the angels attacking them in the jail cell:
And it most closely resembles the other “weird” banishing sigil Samuel used once way back in 6.10:
Now was this an actual angel banishing sigil, or like how Cas would “burn Crowley’s bones” by the end of this episode that caused Crowley to apparently flame out, was this some sort of prearranged “excuse” for Cas to be able to fake his banishment to avoid being “outed” for his role in this entire operation? Either way, we’ve never seen this sigil again. But it does bear a slight resemblance to the enochian B:
(x)
Maybe the B is for Begone? :P
We see Dean use this variant in 12.10, which he chooses not to use after Ishim warns him banishment would potentially kill Cas in his weakened state:
Which almost looks like the Enochian letters Or Graph Van (or translated, FEU, or possibly FEV depending on where you look)
Toni Bevell drew this one in 11.23 and Dean found it here in 12.01:
no adornments around the circle but there’s an extra circle at the top point of the central sigil and at the bottom point. Funny thing about circles and lines at the beginnings and ends of sigils, they’re used in Rose Cross sigils to mark the beginnings (circles) and ends (straight lines such as the one across the top of the sigil) of words.
Rose Cross sigils are drawn on this diagram:
Yes, words are traditionally translated into Hebrew before being diagrammed into a sigil, such as this one for the archangel Michael:
The circle is the beginning, the straight line marks the end. But it works similarly with the English phonetic equivalent:
Go on using the Michael sigil as a template and trace out the design beginning at the M, down to “YIJ”, up and over to K/Kh, just over and down to A/E, and then down to L.
Now if I only knew what word they were attempting to map (and remember, it would be a HEBREW word, and not an English word), I might be able to figure out how it fits on this diagram, but I have stared and stared and been unable to figure it out.
Oddly enough, the sigil Dean drew in the hospital in 9.01 also incorporates Toni Bevell’s circles:
Which makes me even more inclined to believe that this sigil was likely created for the show using a Rose Cross. Now if only we knew what it said...

and this is tangentially related but: “character is an outlaw or otherwise has a life that they have hitherto enjoyed that is completely not conducive to raising a child, suddenly decides to get pregnant, suddenly no longer has hopes or dreams outside of a white picket fence life even though nothing in the story built them up to want that”
Exactly.
Don’t forget the classic, “Character has a painful history with children and/or parenthood, has explicitly said they’d never want to parent, now suddenly is pregnant and boom, trauma/mental illness/legit concerns gone.”
