I've been joking about Ariadne being Hornee for Dionysus in Hades 2 but also like,,, I think she'd notice right away that he isn't doing great??? He's stressed and ignoring it and she wants to help but like they're SUCH a situation ship in a world where they didn't get married how does she approach to help?? is it even her place to help?? But no one else seems to care and she cares SO MUCH

Dionysus means the world to her. She loves him. He helped her when she was at her lowest and she desperately wants to return the favor but how is she supposed to do that as a mortal shade in a war of Titans and Gods??

This is why she's stress unwinding Theseus banners while Asterius and Icarus are side eying her while they do their own things. The Stress Radiates and like they don't know if they should ask.

This idea hit me like a lightning bolt a few hours ago and I've been drawing it ever since alskdfj I didn't think I liked the stories where Dionysus and Ariadne were married before she left with Theseus, but this concept kind of tickles the drama enjoying part of my brain lmao ANY WAY I'm going to call it Married Madness AU or smth of the sort bc Hera had them married while Dionysus was mad, and that's why he never showed up till now. So a now sane again Dionysus and Ariadne are going to have to figure out this whole marriage thing together bc Ariadne's been thinking her husband doesn't care about her the past few years and DIonysus just found out he was married like a week ago alskdf
