Okay, so I got this awesome greenhouse for $15 and I planned on putting carnivorous plants in there, but I realized that it might not work.
First of all, my mom and I are going to redo the outside because it’s really worn. I guess we’ll replace it with shade cloth.
For the temperate plants, I just need some way of keeping them from overheating in the summer. Most of the time my plants die from sudden heat waves we get, so keeping it under 100 F would be great. I would take them out in the winter.
For the tropical plants, they’re currently inside, but they’re not getting enough sun or any humidity. If I put them outside I’ll worried they’ll be too hot (especially in the summer) and I’m not sure about the humidity. More probably wouldn’t hurt.
So my question is, is there a way to keep both plants in this greenhouse and happy??
Or is there a different fabric we should use for the outside?
