Dear my Tumblr's friends❤️

Thank YOU so much for all the concern and encouragement you have shown for my dog Hug.

The values related to Hug's kidney condition, which are monitored regularly through blood tests, are certainly continuing to worsen, and as a result, she is becoming more prone to loss of appetite, anemia and various other clinical symptoms. However, she still has many good days, and on those days she is very active, even walking with her tail up and a surprisingly sure step.

…It's almost like a miracle!!!

And THANKS again to everyone, Hug was able to safely celebrate her 15th birthday on November 3.

Assessing Hug's renal failure is stage 4, so her "typically defined survival period" will be short, but as no one knows what the future holds. Anyway, I am trying to carmly accept things as they are, without becoming either pessimistic or optimistic. And of course, hope is always with us, and Hug's smile continues to shine today✨🐶✨

血液検査で定期的にモニタリングしているハグの腎臓の状態にかんする値は、一時改善が見られていたものの、また確実に悪化し続けていて、それに伴う食欲不振や自力で血液を作りにくくなっていることによる貧血、その他様々な臨床症状が現れてきているのが現状ですが、体調のよい日もまだ決して少なくはなく、そんなときは活動意欲も旺盛で、尻尾を上げながら３本脚でもしっかりとした足取りで歩く姿をみせてくれます。ほんとにすごいよ、ハグ！！

そして今月３日、ハグは無事に15歳の誕生日を迎えることができました。

腎不全のステージ評価では「4」と、ふたたび最も重度な段階に入っているので、“一般的に定義されている生存期間”は厳しいものになるのでしょうが、未来がどうなるかなど誰にもわかるはずはありません。とにかく悲観も楽観もせず、あるがままの“いま”を冷静に受け止めてゆきたいと思っています。

もちろん、希望はいつも僕たちの傍にあり、ハグの笑顔は今日も変わらず輝きを放ち続けています✨🐶✨
