AVA- “You are kidding me right?”
DIONNE- “Ava, I would never joke about that. Seriously, it’s all over the news. Some guy by the name of Avery Wilson confessed to all of it, and drugging your dad for the last five years to keep him in hiding.”
AVA -”I mean the drugs and drinking, that I can believe, but the porn stuff and propositioning his teacher sounds a little unbelievable Dionne. He seemed very nice to me.”
DIONNE - “Oh I am sure he is a nice guy, I didn’t say that, but he is trouble. I wouldn’t get involved with him Ava.”
AVA- “Who said anything about getting involved, remember I’m the prude. Anyway, I thought he was very nice and very cute. I am not going to base my opinion of him on hearsay.”
DIONNE- “Have you heard the news?”
AVA- “No what?”
DIONNE- “Turn on the radio, they just announced that you father has been cleared of all charges and was released out of police custody!”
AVA- “WHAT!!??”
DIONNE - “Don’t look now, but isn’t that your boyfriend over there with Shelby...she looks like she is flirting...
AVA - “Matt? Is that really Matt?”
DIONNE- “Yes in all his over confident glory, that is Matt, and Shelby is going in for the kill....”
AVA- “You KNEW he was my boyfriend, and you still had sex with him...you are disgusting Shelby. What girl does that? You deserve everything you get, I hope you do get pregnant.”
SHELBY- “You are no angel either Ava Boedell. You are daughter of a murderer! God knows what you will grow up to be!”
AVA- “You keep talking and I may not have to grow up, I will kill you right here and now!”
DIONNE- “Ava...don’t that’s enough, neither of them are worth all this....let’s just go.”
DIONNE - “Girl, do you believe it?!! We are in High School now!”
AVA- “And room mates!! This place is amazing. Did you see the art room?”
DIONNE - Yes, and did you see the drama department? It is huge! And the costume room... It looks like a department store.”
AVA - We should check out the grounds and the pool...and then go over to that coffee shoppe I saw, it looks like a great place to hang out.”
DIONNE - “Okay, but I thought you were going to your dad’s hearing today?”
MATT - “Fine! We are done. To be honest we never even started!! You would never kiss me, or even acknowledge I was your boyfriend. After a while it got old, Ava. I got more attention from Shelby than I ever did from you. Hell, we have been messing around for a while now.”
SHELBY- “Matt....Shut up!”
MATT- “Well we have. I mean Miss Prude was never going to give up anything. I had to find someone my age that was mature enough to take care of me.”
AVA- “OMG!! Were you two like....having...”
MATT- Sex? Yeah! So what, you were never going to!”
AVA- “You got that right! I am only fourteen years old Matt, there was NO way I would have sex with you or any guy for that matter. Fine, you two deserve each other! I hope you knock her up!”
