Dionysos and Giant Jack Lore?

Someone please help me because this has been eating away at me last weekend and I want to understand. It’s too good to be true, but I would like for this to happen anyway.

So there’s this French band called Dionysos and prior to this, I had only known two songs from the band: Tais Toi Mon Coeur and Tes Lacets Sont Des Fees, the latter being a light-hearted song with a pun title and a cool yet eccentric animation of a giant watching a dancer and an ukulele-playing bird performing that no one talks about and you could only find the original music video if you search hard enough. I remembered it, so I wanted to hear more music and research.

The leader is a man named Mathias Malzieu. He has written at least two books, has been involved with film, and the albums seem to follow a concept story.

I managed to watch Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart on Tubi and the film was okay. I read that the book has a different ending to the film and that the album story may have differences as well. So far, I might have to do deeper research, but in the Wikipedia, it says that in the concept album Jack becomes a giant in the end supposedly the Giant from the previous album (again, I have to do some research on it).

And speaking of that previous album as well as the song “Giant Jack”, I read that it was based on a novel/story where a giant named Jack helps Mathias grieve/heal after his mother passes away.

I know this is long-winded, but all I want to know is that are all these depictions of a giant named Jack the same person????? Because if so, could you imagine the awesomeness of that?!

A boy born with a weak heart so he gets one made out of a cuckoo clock falls in love, learns how to be human, partakes in a love triangle tragedy that almost kills him, grows up in a new body that keeps on growing, becomes a shadow of his former self, helps a man from making the same mistakes he did… … … And eating an entertainer couple while surprisingly not committing property damage.

Okay, the last part is stretching it and questionable, but c’mon! I want to know more about Giant Jack.

Ao observar a combinação de alguns dos quartos, Jun Ho sentia-se grato por compartilhar o ambiente com alguém que conhecia. Mais do que isso, com alguém com quem se sentia confortável. “Cara, você realmente não viu?” Indagou, andando pelo quarto, jogando as coisas de um lado para o outro. Desaparecido! Havia desaparecido! “Sério, meu esmalte sumiu.” Declarou o coreano, a voz demonstrando um absurdo tom de preocupação. “Minhas unhas já estão descascando, é uma emergência. Puta que pariu!.” O tom assumiu uma essência quase irritada, isso porque sabia que poderia simplesmente comprar outro frasco, no entanto o outro possuía certo valor sentimental. “Será que sumiu ou não coloquei na mala?” Perguntou-se de repente, parando com um travesseiro em mãos. “Bazz, será que estou doido?” Indagou, sem realmente esperar por uma resposta. Bem, poderia estar. De cueca e tapa olhos na testa, certamente parecia com alguém que poderia perder a sanidade a qualquer momento. ​

Dia 08/03. Início da tarde.

Ainda era pelo início da tarde quando Faheera deparou-se com uma cena que lhe fizera paralisar por alguns instantes:  um rapaz caído em uma pequena vala, próximo um bar. Não estava habituada a ver pessoas caídas pelos cantos ( embora sim, tivesse consciência de que havia muitas em tal situação ), portanto não sabia muito bem o que fazer. Deveria chamar uma ambulância? Realmente não possuía a certeza e tentava manter-se em calma, contudo tudo fora por água abaixo quando percebeu que aquela cabeleira escura lhe pareceu familiar demais. Um pouco hesitante, meio assustada, Faheera se aproximou do corpo, sentindo o cheiro de bebida invadir seu nariz ao mesmo tempo em que percebia que aquele era mesmo Basile! Sem muita ideia de como agir, a garota apenas elevou um dedo em direção ao ombro do rapaz, temendo encontrá-lo duro, frio e morto. Para seu alívio, parecia bastante macio, quente e vivo. “Bazz?” Chamou, um tanto incerta. “Por favor, ainda é o primeiro dia da viagem, porque você está assim?” Resmungou, cutucando novamente. Sequer tinha a certeza se o rapaz poderia ouvi-la, entretanto não poderia deixar o colega simplesmente jogado pela rua.
