just tried thca flower genuinely didn't think it'd be good it wasnt bad
really mad bc back in the day, i wanted to make a recreation of journal 3, right? especially because this was 2013, and there weren't any releases of the journal for fans to read. so, i bought a red faux-leather journal, used a gold one-way mirror-esque material for the gold details (it was cheap) then i went to work painstakingly painting each page with tea. i was like 11, mind you, so this was one of my first big art projects i did, so i didn't plan all too much into it. so, it all culminates to about a week after i started, where i pull out this fancy brush pen to write with in the journal. now, when i said there were no readable versions of the journal at this point, i mean there was absolutely nothing. SOMEHOW this slipped my mind, so as i do the first few pages, it's virtually painless as there were very clear pictures of what the journal looked like as you opened it. then i get to the very first page that would be an "entry" and i start writing down the entirety of the gnome pages, because they were shown with high enough detail that you can tell what was written down on the page. NEXT PAGE THOUGH? i realize i have to put together a bunch of pages from the show to be able to continue, so i go looking up a bunch. THEN I HAVE TO REALIZE MOST OF THE TIME THE SHOW CANT SHOW A HIGHLY DETAILED BOOK SO MOST PAGES HAD SCRIBBLES ON EACH PAGE. i feel like i HAVE to finish it at this point, so i put as many pages as i can that were shown (i think i made it to like 8 or 9 and a half) so after the book released i spent so many conversations sitting in embarassment because people would be talking about pages that i had NO information on and i just scribbled out desperately
you know how birds will like, find a beetle on the ground, chew it up, then throw it up for their kids? i woke up today and felt like that beetle
