A new form of e-cigarette use is gaining popularity among experienced ECIG users, called “direct dripping,” in which e-liquids are dripped directly onto an exposed heater coil. Could this off-label method create added risks?
A study from Nicotine & Tobacco Research shows that, due to the higher temperatures attained, direct drip atomizers are likely to produce higher non-nicotine toxicant emissions than conventional e-cigarettes.
