good directions is an upcoming real life roleplay hosted on jcink premium and set in the beautiful coastal city of charleston, south carolina. we will be a character driven site focused on writing with weekly challenges and prompts. we are looking to build an all inclusive community with a chill, drama free vibe and a lot of creative freedom for our members. follow us and track our tag for more information.

GOOD DIRECTIONS is a fairly new slice of life roleplay hosted on jcink. it is a premium site set in charleston, sc. the community is in a rebuilding phase post old account clean out so i would like to add some additional staff to help build this community. i am looking for 2-3 additional staff members to give us a solid foundation for the site to sit on. if you’ve been looking for a site to get in on the ground level and really help shape we’re it!

this is the official staff search. i am looking for 2-3 additional staff members for directions to round out the team. i believe in collaboration to the fullest so you will have a voice from the day you join. i would like for us to be a well rounded team so experience is going to be required. you should be familiar with the admin or mod cp. i believe that we will start you as a mod and move to admin depending on experience level.
the staff positions we will have available would be:
advertising which means you will be responsible for submitting us to resource tumblrs and keeping up on link backs. if you want to link first on sites that is fine but not a requirement. in reality, this should be a responsibility all staff members take on but if someone is gung ho for it please apply.
graphics/coding this is not a requirement but if you can do either that would be helpful. you’d be charged with helping make templates for the site or updating graphics as needed. the members we’ve had in the past have been fairly vocal about things they wanted added so it would help to have additional staff in these areas.
content oriented like i said before we are collaborative but if this is your primary role you’d be responsible for site content. that means you’d be responsible for events, prompts, challenges, etc. you won’t have to come up with them alone obviously, but you’d be the one in charge of running those forums and keeping up on what’s what.
member oriented much like above this is a collaborative board and everyone needs to be interacting with members. at least as far as the staff goes anyway. your primary role would be to deal in all things member or guest related. you answer questions, chat with them in the discord or cbox, etc.
i’ve said this a few times but we are a team so everyone will ultimately be bleeding into these roles a bit. no one person should be pulling more weight. these would simply be areas of focus and are things you can specify you’d like to do when you apply.
so what do we need from you time wise? i’d like for anyone that applies to be able to be fairly active. please have time for the board and be able to be on posting or plotting several times a week. the emphasis right now is the weekends because there tends to only be one of us on at those times.

as promised i am back with another preview! this time we have the application which will be released before we open. this is just a screenshot but the code will drop tomorrow.

in the process of hammering out how we want to handle our opening with the other admins i forgot to post another preview! i am going to do my best to get you a few tonight but don’t hold it against me if i can’t. that being said tonight i present the member groups. these are based on personality enneagrams and more information can be found here for each. remember - this is just a preview so not all information is going to be presented.

the site is set to open in a little under a week so we thought that we would do something different this time. also, because the skin is done and we have very little to work on right now. this entire week we will be posting previews of the site for you. not everything will be skin related but we are going to try to show you all of the interesting parts.
i also want to note that i am very generous so if the other admins agree i plan to post two previews per day. one of those will be content driven and one skin driven. i think that might help you all get the vibe and catch the creation bug a little better.
so are you ready for the first preview? this is our skin! the colors will change based on member group but the aesthetic should be the same.

if you’re thinking to yourself that this place looks familiar then you’re right! real life got a little hectic for one of our staffers in our july but we’ve made some changes and are pressing on. i hope you’ll welcome our new staffers with open arms like i have. we’re all very excited for this! if you look to the right you can see our official opening day is set so keep an eye out for all kinds of goodies to get us all hyped and ready. this includes reserves opening very soon.
