Their recent two week vacation to the Asian tropics had been a welcome one for both of them as they got away from their work and spent time with each other without any cats or distractions. They had a fantastic time frolicking at the beach; enjoying massages, swims, and a spread of good food and drinks. The only thing that pestered Ada during the trip was a handful of mosquito bites on her ankle but she soothed them with a generous slather of aloe vera gel.

Now that the Kennedys were finally back home, it was time to go back to business after a couple of days of unpacking and assimilating with the local time zone. However, Ada was feeling under the weather for some odd reason but she attributed it to jetlag and ageing. Massaging her aching and somewhat painful joints, she popped a couple of painkillers, hoping it would ease the pain and allow her to get through the day at work.

"I'll see you tonight," she gave Leon a kiss and yawned before walking to her car. The drive to work felt longer than usual and when she finally reached her desk, it felt like her head had taken a beating. Squeezing her shoulder and taking a deep breath, she did her best to focus. Ada had lived through much worst and a small headache would hardly deter her.

After a few hours of editing some reports, it was time for a much needed break which just so happened to be the lunch hour. She used the time to distribute the souvenirs she bought, leaving a bag full of snacks in the office pantry before heading to Jill's office. Hopefully the brunette would not be preoccupied with a certain Captain in there.

She knocked on the door, "Redfield, there's a tin of tea with your name on it."

9. What about political beliefs?

For Ada's personal beliefs, she leans left but politically, she doesn't care for it at all as politics interfered in her previous career one way or the other.

14. Were they involved at school? Sports? Clubs? Debate? Were they unconnected?

Ada was involved in gymnastics in elementary school and participated in anything else that involved play as a child. Though after her father died and she was shuttled from one foster home to the other, she was rather unconnected to school in general, having bad grades and creating trouble. It was a coping mechanism to being unwanted.

Her gym instructor never gave up on her though, allowing Ada to come in whenever she wanted to. It was when the instructor pushed Ada to join a competition which she clinched third place in did she start to be more involved in gym again. It temporarily took away any pain she felt at that moment in time.

26. What does your character’s home look like? Personal taste? Clothing? Hair? Appearance?

Her current house shared with Leon is modern and sleek, with a roomy feel and plenty of illumination. There’s lots of white with contrasting colors here and there. Given their exposure to plenty of “toys” in the field, there’s also high tech household gadgetry dotted through the house as well.

Ada’s personal taste leans towards professional elegance. In her previous job, how you looked mattered a lot so she blindly favored branded goods in her youth and she always went for spas, facials, and manicures. Now the need to do excessive grooming has dwindled and she is now able to find cheap items that are still classy. 

Her clothes are usually fashionable and formal with plenty of reds and blacks. She’s also inserting more colors into her wardrobe to surprise Leon. ;) In the privacy of her own home, she’s more casual with her wardrobe with shirts, shorts, jeans, and summer dresses. Of course, Leon prefers her in her birthday suit anyway lol.

Her hair is neat and trimmed, styled with some hairspray to keep things in place. Long hair was something that was discouraged during her training days and it’s a habit she’ll be keeping for a long time.

As for the rest of her appearance, she carries herself with poise and confidence. She walks with her back straight and her chin held up high. If dealing with men, she’ll dress by showing off some skin. 

32. How does your character react to stress situations? Defensively? Aggressively? Evasively?

She remains calm and collected, always searching for the quickest and most effective solution to get away from the situation quickly.

However, there was a rare instance in the Quad Tower in China that she lost her cool and destroyed everything in the vicinity. Simmons perverted everything she was and the result of that was a doppelganger that tried to kill her. Finally defeating Derek and his lover, all her residual anger bubbled up to the surface and she retaliated aggressively.

After she married Leon however, she knows that evading the problem whenever she gets into arguments with him is not the answer so she reluctantly stays to iron out the kinks. It’s not easy since the urge to run is always there but it’s baby steps to make the relationship work.

40. How is their sense of humor? Do they have one?

Ada is not one to throw jokes around and/or get her audience to laugh at something she has said. She is too refined and stern to engage in such activities. Although, she is not quite as humorless as she seems to be. She only allows certain, select people to enter the private circle of more-than-just-business-associates relationship. With these people, Ada would not turn away from throwing in a witty remark with a twist of humor in it. It is more of an inside joke between her and the involved person. If they are overheard by anyone else, the third party would simply not got the humor about it. In the case she jokes with certain individuals, these jokes tend to have a more venereal tone to them.
