Well that was... odd.

One of our admins recently pointed out that they couldn’t see any of the posts on the directory at all on their dash, and when they tried to reblog the posts they found out they couldn’t. After observing the problem, we found out that they, along with several others were blocked. Spam blogs and porn blogs mostly, but a bunch of actual users too. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience if your blog was blocked by the directory for some reason. We have no idea how this happened, or who did it if anyone. 

I would also like to state that we will not block people without actual reason to do so, and it will be discussed within the actual moderators of the blog. If you moderate the blog presently, please do not block people without addressing someone else who moderates it (with the exception being spam blogs or porn blogs).

Directory Cleanup - Phase 2: Blog Indicators

Phase 2 of the Directory Cleanup is marking blogs which have gone on hiatus or have been abandoned. There is now a set time frame for blogs being marked as such, obviously it won't be "RPer has been inactive for a week, hiatus". They are numbers within an acceptable range. The listing is below as follows:

Blog Hiatus: starting at 2 months from last post, to 4 months from last post.

Blog Abandonment: Starting at 4 months from last post, to 7 months from last post. At this point blogs are considered up for removal from the directory. Blogs which start to become more personal than RP will be considered for deletion, but will not be deleted if the ratio of personal to RP does not exceed 70:30

Removal from Directory: If a blog reaches 7 months of inactivity and further, it will be deleted from the directory without question. If you decide to revive the blog, you will need to resubmit your entry entirely. Another thing which will mark your blog as straight removal is if it becomes a dedicated personal blog. This is the Touhou RP Directory, not the Touhou Fandom Blog Directory.

This entire process is so that new people who want to use the directory to look up someone to RP with know exactly who is active and who isn't. There's little-to-no sense to keeping a blog up on the directory if it hasn't been active in over half a year.

Directory Cleanup - Phase 1: Deadlink Blogs

The directory needs to be cleaned up, severely so. This is going to be a 2 phase process. Phase 1 is to remove all blogs with deadlinks. Phase 2 is to start marking blogs that still exist with appropriate lables (Hiatus, Abandoned, etc).
