I turned 21 yesterday and so to celebrate, and since my family was down from the highlands, we went back to a castle I used to visit rather often when I was wee. Dirleton is fairly small by castle standards and has been abandoned since the 1600s but it still has some really impressive spaces. I have a lot of happy memories playing hide and seek and watching historical re-enactments here many summers past.
