Chocolate Peanut Butter Dirt Cake is a delicious, no-bake dessert that combines the rich flavors of chocolate and peanut butter. With its layers of cookie crust, creamy peanut butter filling, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping, it's a crowd-pleaser that's perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 package 14 oz chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed. 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup creamy peanut butter. 1 cup powdered sugar. 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened. 1 container 16 oz whipped topping. 2 packages 3.9 oz each instant chocolate pudding mix. 3 cups cold milk. 1 cup chopped peanuts optional. Chocolate shavings for garnish optional.
Instructions: Melted butter and crushed chocolate sandwich cookies should be combined in a large mixing bowl. Stir until the butter is evenly distributed among the crumbs. To make the crust, press the cookie mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9 by 13-inch dish. While you make the filling, put it in the fridge to set. Combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter in a separate mixing bowl and beat until smooth and creamy. Mix thoroughly the peanut butter mixture with half of the whipped topping. Over the cookie crust in the dish, equally distribute the peanut butter mixture. Mix the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk in a separate bowl and whisk for about two minutes, or until the mixture thickens. Evenly cover the peanut butter layer in the dish with the chocolate pudding, spreading it out. Use the remaining whipped topping to cover the pudding layer. If you'd like, add some crunch to the top with chopped peanuts and top with chocolate shavings. Before serving, let the Chocolate Peanut Butter Dirt Cake cool in the fridge for at least two hours. Enjoy and serve cold!
