So someone just posted this on Twitter and all I can think of is:
What’s with the grass in the middle?
WHY did no one wipe the plate clean before serving this? It looks awful enough as it is.
Ew.

I tidied up, so now there is one dirty plate on the sofa arm and two mugs on the glass coffee table; along with plasters for blisters, scotch tape and broken thumb-picks, with a note circled on a single piece of paper:
“What is the purpose?”
It sounds ominous; far too heavy for a peppermint tea after work, so I stick my gum to it, which I've read it helps reduce plaque if you chew after every meal. I've read, but I'm not hopeful.
I am hopeful, by which I mean I'm certain, that I am doing more recording in February with Dan Tilling in Solid State Studios (you can find his stuff here). I've been practicing like a monk all year for this: relaxing into it; shoulders and hands, I've even thrown in a few Kung Fu stances to keep me standing upright to the slow tick-tock of my phone-app-metronome: I'm sure I look like an idiot.
The two new tracks are called 'Midland' and 'Automatic Mist' and I'll be uploading another track next month from a previous session, called 'One Million Rounds/Things Between Bread'.
More details to follow soon.
Sometimes you're handed your life on a dirty plate, but it's up to you to make it a silver platter.

Dirty Plate
Been going through some old stuff & found this. I think I must have been having a bad day. I'm unlikely to rerecord it so the hotspots are here to stay I'm afraid.
