Tao opened his eyes to the new voice and looked at the seat next to him. Too tired to move, he only blinked slowly trying to recall. “Nothing much. I don’t even remember falling asleep. You?”

8. Cheek Kiss

Tao was drunk. Drunk and alone. Not a good thing. He had been there far too long, but he had no way of getting home. He could call one of the guys, but he’d probably get scolded. Taking the last bit of his drink, he pulled out his phone and called one of his fellow members. After a few slurred words and a few giggles, Tao poked end and put his phone back. On his way out of the bar, he was about to pass the guy nearest to the exit, but thought of a better idea. As he passed the stranger, he leaned over and pecked him on the cheek. Without another word, he was exiting the door.

She shook his hand with glee before returning it to her side. “How’s your day going, Yookwon-ssi?”

He hummed softly, reaching up and carefully moving her hair back as he spoke, “Pretty ladies like you need to smile so the world has something to outshine the sun, you know that?”

She rolled her eyes at the comment, letting out a soft snort. "And the world needs guys like you to spout such cheesy lines to bring a smile to those pretty girls faces." She smiled faintly up at him.

"I have those days too." He nodded, rubbing her back gently as a soothing motion, "If you need anything.. Let me know, okay?"

She nodded a few times, sighing softly. "Thank you..." She said softly as she closed her eyes, forcing herself to relax against him.

Pulling her into his arms, he squeezed her gently into a warm embrace as he mumbled, “Don’t worry. It’ll be okay.”

She looked up at the other, surprised by the sudden embrace she was pulled into. Her mouth opened to speak, but words didn't bother coming out, so instead she simply laid her head against his chest, her arms wrapping around his waist.
