Hi,

I've reading your and Muffin's meta for a while, and a question popped up recently:

In the twilight world, how do you guys think the venom affect mental disorders (like schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, etc)?

Does the venom would just freeze them in this state, like immortal children when they can't develop further? Or would it be simply.... gone? (Most of those are result of chemical imbalance, which i'm sure you already know; so would the venom just change the chimestry of it?)

I personaly think personality disorder (asocial, narcissic, DID) wouldn't change, but what do you think?

I don't know much about mental illnesses, but to my understanding they are done a disservice by being called mental illnesses: they have, as you say, quantifiable physical causes.

Becoming a vampire would remove the cognitive aspect of the mental illness, leaving behind the behaviours and whatever else remains of it.

In other words, I believe vampires would be much improved, if not cured outright.

So, do you have any problem with tumblr notifications?? I don't receive any of them on my main (be it likes or reblogs or even dms; asks go directly to my email) and on my sides it's bugging and i don't see any reblog notifs (i have to go on the post directly to see them).

And the mobile app notifications dont works half the time :/

I dont even see my dms notifs until like five hours later...

Is there something i can do? Or is it just Tumblr Magic when they fix something that doesn't need to be fixed mixing it up??

I haven't gotten notifications (desktop AND app) for most of my sideblogs in over two years.

For @nancylou444 notifications, I get them.

At this point, they are too busy "updating" nonsense (LIVE) to really fix things that we actually use (tags).

Do you think harry would still loves hogwart even if magic wasn't a thing? I mean, he mostly loves it because it saves him from the Dursley...

I think he would, mostly for the reason you mention, it got him out of the Dursleys. He made friends there, was accepted, and was able to completely divorce himself from the Dursleys and have his parents absolved and be national heroes.

The magic made everything grander but it wasn't the reason in and of itself that Harry adored Hogwarts.

Random headcanon about the northeast:

While to the other states, they're known as "Mind your own business" mindset, they know the truth:

They're the nosiest bitches to ever exist.

New York know all the drama, the blackmail, everything; rat man got more rumors and info than Nevada, California, Florida and Lousiana. Don't piss him if you wanna keep your privacy; he won't hesitate to out anything he wants if he knows it will gain him something agaisnt you.

New Jersey, RI, Connie and PA got bets on personnal lives of the other states about things they really shouldn't know about. Nevada's the one handling the money, and he knows not to ask; they know too much already for them to get nosier about him.

Mass is an asshole about things you don't even knew he knew; buddy can and will ahck anything to prove a point and will judge you without you asking.

Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire are the ones who'll give you advices on problems you never, ever talked about out loud. And I mean never.

And if they choose to tease you about something, the rest of the region will know what and why, and will tease you too.

I never thought of this but it makes sense and I love it <3 okay so I can see like, the northeast states being cliquey and secretive with each other, it's a habit they formed during the american revolution when they had to rely on each other for information, supplies, and back up, they bonded as they formed the new country and yes they will argue and fight on the regular, but those early bonds they formed helped them over the centuries and they won't tell the other regions their personal business, but they know everything about everyone else, they won't share how they know, most of the others can figure out part of it is mass hacking their systems for fun, but it's more than that, but they won't share their secrets for spying <3
