A crystal-laden beach washes all traces of footprints on the sand. AQUAMARINE eyes looks aloft, sky that was in perpetual storm, clouds flying through the wind. In VALHALLA, a sole entity governs it’s will, Etro. Goddess of death, she chose this plane as her resting place, selecting but one knight to guard her slumber. Lightning walks along the shore of this alien world, the calm atmosphere reminds her of the late-night stroll she && SERAH would take. Her unblemished hands ( back then ) would hold Serah’s fragile palms.

But that felt like another life, she looks at her hands now, leather bound && gloved, yet calloused underneath. Lightning allows a smile form on her lips, how she has transformed throughout her life. First she became a soldier, promising a secured life in the future, then a l’cie ; branded && scorned. Now she stands armored, with orichalcum plating, && gold embellished, the knight of ETRO.

In this desolated land, she stands alone to inhabit it.

or so she thought.

Lax pace in foot, turns in haste as she saw a small figure washed away a few meters from her. As she got closer, Lightning saw a boy no older than eight or nine (?) clad in black. Upon reaching him, Lightning knelt down, a soft clicking of steel are heard mixed with the waves of water. Lightning turns him to face her, as she rest his head to her left arm. Her right hand then glows in turquoise as she cast a CURA on the boy.

“ Wake up– —.” Her right hand pats his cheeks.” WAKE UP– !!!” Her voice louder, panic seeping to her tone.

I had such a stall for a couple weeks (cue sad me because ‘fuck i suck’) but I feel like I’m back on this week! (for a couple weeks, maybe? Who knows. Inspiration comes and goes.) BUT, for latest updates, I have this to present:

angle

i feel like we forget about angles as shapes far too often. they're nice. there's a mass of theorems about angles. in summary, because i don't want to stretch my poor math-english vocabulary, angles are cool. would date right and obtuse ones, i feel like acute ones would be too acute, and i can't date straight angle, since i'm gay (kinda). i also love the 270° one, probably my fav angle, would 100% date it.

2. triangle

oh boy. there are so many of them. here we go.

ok, so i've got nothing against acute triangles, but just like with angles, they're too acute. would not date.

equilateral triangle? absolutely overhyped, just sits there smirking because it thinks it's so cool (which it isn't), flipping 60°, 60°, 60°, well flipping flip your 60° mx tequila with a t. oh sorry, my mistake, you don't even have a t at the beginning, loser

isosceles triangle, oh my poor little shapey, why did they give you this terrible long weird name. stupid english math. i'm gonna call you izzy. so, izzy's nice. izzy's helpful. izzy's saved me so many times at maths that i lost count. i love izzy, 10/10, would date without a doubt

right triangle could be quite neat to date, but not the 30°, 60°, 90° one, because it's a half of the tequila one, and we don't like tequila here. but any other right triangle? i'd beg them to date me. actually i am. begging. please do.

obtuse triangles are... hm. hm hm hm. i mean, i can't pinpoint why not, but... OH ALRIGHT ACTUALLY I CAN WATHAHAHAH so if you draw a circle around an obtuse triangle, right, so that it's corners are on the circle, then the circle's centre is outside of the triangle. you know how annoying is it to draw. my hear aches, let the point be inside, let them meet, but my math says no. i will not. (on an unrelated note i'm currently on verge of tears, hope you're all happy. why am i doing this. i'm sad and tired of triangles already and there are so much more cool ones. i'm sorry, little guys)

ok, i like trapeziums. they're too pure for this world. and i definitely have too little math exercises with them. i mean, they're quadrilateral but not too much, like squares or rectangles, which i'm genuinely trying to avoid in my life (well, rectangles aren't that bad, but you know.). they're just perfect. mxes perfecty perfect quadrilaterals from perfectium perfect perfectland. would date.
