i really hate the way cis people’s feelings need to be coddled when someone close to them comes out as trans and transistion. Read a comment under a video of a dad and his trans daughter and the top comment was “we really need to give some grace to parents who have to grieve their child when they transistion…it’s like enduring the death of a son/daughter”

One of the worst parts of my coming out/transition, a decade ago now, was everyone around me acting like I’d just died, when I was only beginning to live.

not being able to interact with media that doesnt have Any romance without adding romance somewhere is indicative of a culture that does not truly enjoy the media that is consumed. if you cannot enjoy a movie/tv show/book/etc without adding romance that was never ever hinted at, you do not actually enjoy that media

luke was a good person before he was anything

he didn’t destroy the death star as a jedi he destroyed it as Some Guy, he didn’t duel darth vader as a jedi he dueled him as Some Guy, and though he defeated the emperor as a jedi, he brought vader back not as a jedi, but as his son.

i think a big difference between luke and the pt jedi (AND THIS IS ME GOING OUT ON A LIMB) is that most jedi do the right thing because it is their duty, luke does the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
