Hi everyone!!!
Thanks to a series of unfortunate-turned-fortunate events, I found out I'm able to recover from being outside within a week, faster than even last year. It led me to finally trying to replace the wheels on my wheelchair, only to find out I was sent the wrong things and it's been too long since purchasing to return them....
Anyways, my current wheelchair is very basic and needs to be pushed with lots of effort for me to get anywhere outside. I looked around and found two used but good conditioned power wheelchairs in my area that are a fraction of the cost of a new one!
Sadly, they're still out of budget, but looking at them is like looking at getting a bit of independence back since I haven't been able to leave my house alone in two years, and I don't know if I'll find this golden opportunity again.
So I'm deciding to ask for help since my government refuses to, and I started a new Kofi goal!! Any direct purchases of my debut book or a small tip/donation will be put straight to my credit card purchase of a used power wheelchair ❤️
UPDATE: I found a new one with a good reputation that was on clearance for slightly less than the cheapest used local one! However that still means I'm buying one and my credit card is taking a hit 😭
