so i just checked the @ace-toronto 2015 Census Report [pdf] and, 16-17% of disabled aces is hella high?
now i understand better why they’re so committed to accessibility.
i feel like i definitely don’t know enough about the intersection of being ace and disabled. the only paper i’ve found is mostly
It is suggested that the history of imposed asexuality in the disability community can create barriers to discussing asexuality in disability narratives, for fear of imposing old stereotypes on the authors.
and that’s it. so, i’m definitely looking forward to the related results from the AVEN 2016 census.
