NaturasterTale AU Story

The AU where humans live Naturally without the Disaster causing monsters

TLDR:  NaturasterTale is an AU where monsters have disaster-related abilities and are thus locked up for it. The royal scientist WD Gaster whose ability let him create sinkholes knew the only way monsters could be trusted again is if he creates a serum that can help counteract disasters thus creating something that incorporates nature and helps things grow. A human named Asael has come to the unground and wanting revenge against his ex he kills and steals Frisks, Asgores and Papyrus soul for himself and becomes Disael. He goes and tries to kill his ex Ania by throwing her under a train. Sans witnessing all this takes the serum but ends up almost dying from the power of the serum so he goes and rescues Ania last minute and asks her to take his soul and protect the AU. She agrees and thus her body transforms from human to monster who now has the ability to control nature and help things grow. Disael and the now named Nia (She didn't want to share the first letter of the ex who abused her) are in constant battle in their own AU and in the multiverse with the message of the AU being while horrible things/disasters may happen something will improve/grow from the experience

The Long version

Prologue

Let’s start at the beginning many years ago, when humans and monster lived together. Humans and monsters lived together in harmony for many years, no one ever questioned where they came from but it was accepted that they lived in society. However all monsters had abilities, abilities that were horrible in nature, they all had powers relating to natural disasters. The king of the monsters Asgore was known to create eruptions of volcanoes and fire when even the smallest thing ticked him off. Undyne the head of the guard of monsters was known to create tsunamis of large scales. Alphys the scientist would create earthquakes at just a sneeze. None of the monsters could properly control their abilities. Because of this the monsters and humans started having disagreements and humans were starting to fear the monsters and just wanted to live in peace but the monsters argued that they couldn’t control their abilities. A fight becomes a war as humans and monsters start fighting but when Toriel the ice storm monster realised the damage they were causing she begged the king to surrender which they did. They were locked on Mount Ebott to never be seen from.

They were left in that mountain to the point where even humans had called their existence a fairytale. The head of the scientists, WD Gaster, realised that if monsters had the ability to grow nature after disasters then everything could work out great, however, the power of being able to grow anything you want was just too powerful. When Gaster finally thought he had the serum he took it but his soul started to crack, he started to bleed, that power was too much for a monster to have alone. He falls in the middle of Snowdin, persuading himself that he’s a failure as he falls for the last time and becomes the strongest tree in the underground.

Frisk

A few years ago a power-hungry person named frisk falls down the mountain and meets the monsters. Frisk loves the destructive ability of the monsters as they approach the king and kill them, but just before Asgore’s soul disappears Frisk grabs it and combines it with their determination soul, giving them the ability of fire, lava and volcanoes themselves. However, this power is still not enough for them...so they wait for someone else to come someday.

The breakup

Ania was so proud of herself, finally after 2 years of abuse from her ex she had stood up and ended it all. She nods to herself as she heads to her normal classes. Her new ex, on the other hand, snapped. He rushes away from the city. Not knowing where he’s going he reaches mount ebott and falls down. There is where he meets Frisk. The ex is burning with the desire for revenge so he goes and kills Papyrus right in front of sans and takes his soul. Papyrus had the ability to control landslides so immediately the ex lifts his hands and landscapes start crashing down in the mountain. Frisk is about to kill the ex to steal his power but is beaten to it. Frisk is slain by this ex. Who takes now the soul and takes it in as well. Now having the full ability to control volcanoes and landslides. He smiles knowing he had the ability to get revenge at Ania, the girlfriend that broke up with HIM. No way would he let her get away with it as he travels out of the mountain to where he knows she’ll be. What he didn’t know however is Sans had observed everything and while he didn’t remember WD Gaster like the rest of the underground he did find his research and knew the only way to stop him if someone grows after they destroy. So Sans heads down to the basement was the scientist worked. He grabs the serum and drinks it fully till the last drop. Immediately his soul starts to ache and glow green, his hands rattle from the overwhelming power and he starts to bleed.

Death?

She stood at the train platform listening to music after class. Feeling free for the first time in many months. The train is approaching the station. Someone stood behind her. He would kill her using the very transport that they had met on. He pushes her forward out in front of the train. She lets out a scream of shock as in front of everyone falls in front of the moving train. But before she could actually get hit she’s grabbed by a bleeding skeleton and teleported last second as they both fall into a field of tall grass. You know while Papyrus may not physically exist his soul still does and with his passive nature, the soul would react to a violent act about to be committed. So Sans being his brother sensed that there was trouble and was there to save her.

Help

Sans laid in the field bleeding and dying as his hp was dropping. Ania immediately sits up not questioning his appearance as she desperately asks if he’s alright and that she owes him everything for saving her. Sans cough with blood that is red with a mix of some green. He weakly expresses that monsters exists and that their abilities are disastrous and are now in the wrong hands. He looks up at her groaning in pain and asks her to save this AU from that ‘thing’. Ania's kindness soul shines through as she thinks for only a moment but agrees as she yet again thanks sans before taking his soul.

Transformation

The pain was unbearable. She yelled and screamed as she rolled around the field. Her skin melting to become bones as she becomes a monster. With both a human and monster soul taking the growth power Ania is able to accept her abilities. The pain kept coming and hurting her until it stopped...she passes out from exhaustion. A few hours later she wakes up and sees her new skeleton form. Her abilities now include the ability to manipulate and movie nature but to also grow it. She adopts the name Nia instead of Ania. Why you may ask? Because her ex’s name is Asael and she would never want to share the first letter of someone like him especially because of how he treated her. She never wanted to hear her real name again.

Present day

Nia and Asael are in constant battle. Asael now the disaster creator gave himself the name of Disael and tries to destroy anything he believes is lovely while Nia fights him and grows back anything he destroys. At first, they only fought in NaturasterTale however a fight between Ink and Error reached their AU since it’s so destructive of creation and while Nia learned about the multiverse and was amazed by it, Disael saw it as an opportunity to destroy. Nia has met many skeletons, monsters and people from other AU’s. So now Nia protects her AU from Disael as well as helps health/grow damage in other AU’s.
