Il y a une certaine harmonie, je trouve, dans le visage de cette femme du Nagaland. Son bindi rouge fait écho à son visage presque parfaitement rond. Pour les ethnologues : elle est Dimasa (Kachari), une des 16 ethnies locales du Nagaland. Contrairement aux autres, les Dimasas sont hindous. C'est aussi un très ancien royaume du Nord-Est de l'Inde - aujourd'hui situé près du Brahmapoutre, en Assam et au Nagaland.
