Maybe it's just me but I believe Andrew is telling the truth when he says he hates Neil. Neil changes so much for him, makes him feel so many things. For a man who before felt practically nothing and lived life in an iron grip of control, I totally understand why he'd be overwhelmed by Neil, Hate him. Even if that really stemmed from something else, I think it's still true

#i also think Neil realizes this #before Baltimore he thought Andrew wouldn't care if he died but believed he hated him bc he knew the ways he'd thrown Andrew's life into #disarray #but once he came back and Andrew told him to stay he realized the other layer of that hate #that he hated Neil for putting him in a position of holding onto something again #'i should know better'#so yes he hates neil yes he 'loves' him #aftg #andreil #this occured to me bc I've seen it referred to as a 'lie' in fics a few times
