If you live in Los Angeles County and need help or want to help, you'll find tips at the LA Mutual Aid Society: https://www.instagram.com/mutualaidla/ and bit.ly/malan-fire
Here's some ways to help survivors of the Los Angeles County wildfires:
Pasadena Humane Society: This organization has taken in over 400 animals from the Eaton fire, including wildlife. They desperately need monetary donations to purchase medical supplies and other resources as they continue to take in burned and injured animals. Donate at give.pasadenahumane.org/fire. They're also in need of fosters.
Los Angeles Animal Services: All six of their shelter facilities are at or over capacity, and they're asking for the public's help to adopt or foster so they can make room for lost pets. They've specifically waived adoption fees for dogs and cats at this time, as those are their most critically full populations. You can also donate at laanimalservices.com/donate-today.
Greater Good: They’re distributing survival supplies and pet food to desperate families and animals. They are working with shelter partners in the L.A. area to support medical care for burned pets. They will continue to assess the situation with their partners and stand ready to deliver additional aid.
Our vision: No one goes hungry in Los Angeles.
