This was like the first Discworld book that amazed me so much because it started out hilariously quirky, then you suddenly find yourself thinking deeply about humanity and moral ambiguity and before you know it you're reading all the Discworld novels.
my idea of a discworld adaptation would be something close to Monty Python but with more plot and relevance, and I want a special Colon and Nobby Nobbs's scene where they'd just be talking for like 10 minutes; no interruptions, no effects, perhaps no reason at all, just casual social commentary between two companions, and that would be perfect
