Walked the dog and flew to doubles at the Mounds. Pulled B Pool clint and decided to roll with it. I shot a 68 on a fairly mixed layout of white/middle and blue long tees. I managed to birdie 4, and then going from where we started at 17–we at least played blue and/or long on: 18, 2, 7 (short basket), 8, 10 (white tee/long pin), 12, and 15. I managed to string together a decent amount of pars and even with one of the worst grip locks I’ve had (I got my disc stuck to my own arm and basically dropped it next to the tee pad on 3) I kept my calm and managed to have some really good holes. There were holes I didn’t need to take both my shots, and I even managed to hit cage on a few upshots so only inches from field acing at least 2-3 holes that I can remember, and even when I had to scramble it wasn’t a total disaster. Not a stellar round for a lot of folks, but it felt good to keep up, not embarrass myself completely, and come back to tournament central and not have shot the high score of the night. Granted I think I tied for high score of the night, but considering that was with a decent pair—I’ll take it! 💪🏻 😎 💥 ⛓ #discgolf #discgolflife #discgolfdoubles #discgolfclint #ladiesofdiscgolf #ladiesofknoxvillediscgolf #themoundsdiscgolfcourse #gyroqueens #therealmvps #throwgyro #shestinyandcool #pdga104552 (at Groves Park Disc Golf "The Mounds") https://www.instagram.com/p/ByT41BOJ4Xm/?igshid=1vah4b6yaaea8
