I have really coily hair, the kind that's loose enough to be the kind of afro that droops and hangs well, kind like the Weeping Willow of afro textures. I also love crowns and tiaras for that reason - to the point of starting a collection - because they sit real pretty, kinda nested in my hair and shit. Deifying myself as an aesthetic and really dedicating myself to the bit of it means buying a crown of thorns is clearly the logical next step here.

Now, my very Christian family are only tangentially aware of both my queerness and my tendency to blasphemously deify myself for Reasons(TM), but they are kinda aware nonetheless (i think they just pretend they Do Not See It, both because they love me too much to disown me and also because I'm known for not giving a flying fuck about what people tell me and being a smartass who cites my sources).

I don't wanna piss my family off by basically cosplaying as the fucking Messiah as a fashion statement, but Jesus really slapped with the crown of thorns tho and I gotta jack his style
