Here's one rule of thumb when engaging in "discourse": If you're going to double down on what you are saying and stating as fact, make sure you are correct. Being so confident when you are so wrong just makes people not take you seriously.
Another rule of thumb when engaging in "discourse" is that typing out 14 paragraphs and using big words is not the flex you think it is. Think of discourse as an actual verbal argument. People will not listen to you drone on and on and on about whatever it is you're trying to prove. Make it short and simple.
Like, I really don't engage in "discourse" anymore, but when I do, I make sure to do my research, have receipts and keep it short and readable. However, some of y'all will just type out so many useless paragraphs. I'm not here to read your version of The Tale of Two Cities, okay? Get to the fucking point.
