Day 62: Today was the first day back in classes after Fall Break. I somehow managed to run on one and a half hours of sleep, and I'm still not tired. I may have to take melatonin tonight to go to sleep. I took my first midterm today, my Shakespeare midterm. And I think I did pretty well. I studied hard for that exam, and I remembered pretty much everything so that was good. Other than that, I painted and baked cookies with Sarah and Jackie. The pictures with today's post are all the Christmas decorations we have up right now. There are a few more things we are going to paint later in the week. Tonight I painted the "peace on earth" sign, and it reminded me about how peaceful this time of year is. I always feel a sense of overwhelming peace when I have my Christmas decorations out, and I think my favorite decoration is my nativity scene with the "peace on earth" sign hanging above it....69 days till Christmas. #discoverciu

Day 95: Today I went to church for the first time in two weeks. It was nice. I missed my friends. Sadly, I couldn't hang out with them after church today, but it's okay. Other than that, I took a nap which was much needed, worked on homework and went to Waffle House with Rachel, Sarah, Devin and Jacob. I suppose it was fun, but I'm ready to be an introvert for the rest of the year. I just want to go home honestly. I need a break. I want this semester to end, and when it does, I'll be happy. 35 days till Christmas. #discoverciu

Day 90: Today was a really tough day, like a really tough day. We had our Image Bearers performance, and it went really well, but afterwards, I was so done with everything. But I had to go on a trip to Greenville to see a play with the Shakespeare class. We saw Much Ado About Nothing at Bob Jones University, and it was hilarious. The actor who played Benedick was probably my favorite. Before I head to bed, I just want to say I am grateful for Avika, Sarah, Rachel and Josh. You guys really helped me a lot today. 40 days till Christmas. #discoverciu

Day 88: Today was good. My mom made me pancakes and bacon for breakfast, and then I got to help her decorate for Christmas some more. I put up a tree in my room, but I won't be able to get the pictures up till tomorrow probably. My mom didn't want to bring me back to school today, and I didn't really want to come back because I had a lot to do. When I got back, I got to enjoy some time with my hall and brother hall. They all played Mafia, and I sat there and listened. I left a selfie on someone's phone. At the time, I didn't know whose phone it was, but I now know it was Dane's. So enjoy that selfie, Dane. Other than that, I've been working on Image Bearers stuff and laundry. I still have a little bit of stuff left to do, and then I can sleep. 42 days till Christmas. #discoverciu

Day 83: Today has been definitely less stressful. A lot of people find it more stressful when they write out everything they have to do, but I hadn't done that yet this week until today and I felt so unorganized and anxious. Now that I've written out all my homework for the rest of the semester I feel so much better. I feel motivated to actually do stuff, and it's great. Thank you for all who prayed for me. It was such a blessing. Another blessing to share is that the pastor that my mom attends went to our house today, and he said to her that the Lord had told her that my family needed grocery money so he took up a collection and he gave her $300. God is so great, guys! Besides all that, I went to Chick-fil-A with some great friends: Jackie, Sarah, Brandon and Aja. I also found awesome movies in the free section of the library :D I AM SO HAPPY....okay, now I must finish my homework so I can sleep. 47 days till Christmas. #discoverciu

Day 82: I had a nice day. I'm just really tired. I don't even feel like writing about my day, but I will anyways. I got to go to Denny's for the first time in years with my best friend Tyler for his birthday. We also went to 2nd and Charles, and I began my Christmas shopping :D Lastly, we went to the mall to bother Jonathan and ended up staying till he got off work and went to Wendy's. Tyler and I also went to Walmart so I could get some stuff for Image Bearers. Now, I'm going to make some cinnamon rolls because I'm hungry. 48 days till Christmas. #discoverciu

Day 81: Today started off kind of rough, but it ended pretty great. I skipped church because I wasn't feeling well last night or this morning, but I felt better as the day went on. I got all my laundry done and homework done and still managed to have fun and make cookies and Christmas decorations with Sarah. The highlight of my day was getting to meet a girl named Rachel. She was really nice and sweet. 49 days of Christmas. #discoverciu

Day 80: Well, today sure didn't go as planned, but I got to see my best friend, David for the first time since February. It was fun. We listened to music and sang together like we always do. And he got to meet all of my friends. And he left me two beautiful drawings he drew today. Also, my wonderful roommate, Sarah, bought me a pizza, and Jeconiah gave me the left over pizza from the ram shack so that makes me happy. So I guess looking back over the whole day...it wasn't so bad at all. 50 days till Christmas. #discoverciu
