#ELYUTRAVELS
Luna, La Union is very known as a pebble-rich town because they are really blessed with such pebble stones. You know you’ve reached their town already when you’re starting to see pebble stones along the roads. Some are scattered, some were on the sacks because other residents make selling of pebble stone as their business, some were formed as flower pots and other crafts and artworks made up of these stones.
We specifically went to Brgy. Nalvo Norte, Luna, La Union where this famous Stone-Hand Art Gallery (Kamay na Bato) is located. We’ve been here actually last summer but it is still known as Bahay na Bato but the famous house were now a private property and they changed its name already. Before we entered the place, we paid 20.00 for the environmental fee. It’s really cheap and worth it.
So, if you happen to visit Elyu (La Union), this is one of the best place to visit. You’ll be amazed by the works of their artists’ hands. You’ll be seeing faces and people carved or painted in stones. They also have some 3D art pieces inside. I won’t be showing all the photos so I won’t be spoiling your experience soon.
