Why do I always feel tired? Why do I always feel like I am so weak? I just woke up one day asking these things to myself. I’m not really okay with it. It keeps me from being productive and active into such physical and mental activity. I can’t even do my tasks that much at work and even at home. It’s really a struggle. And things aren’t used to be this way. Just lately. I wasn’t so sure when and where did all this start. Then I’ve searched online and end up reading an article. FATIGUE. Yes, I’m pretty sure I’m suffering from fatigue because I’ve been experiencing the same symptoms. That is why I really wanted to see a doctor. Not now, but quite real soon. Tbh, I’m afraid of Doctors and Hospitals. That’s why it will took enough courage. Lol. But I’ve been reading through online articles and found some Self-help tips to fight tiredness that I’m gonna try for a while.
So, if you’re having the same situation as mine, here are some self-help tips I’ve read from an online article:
Eat often to beat tiredness
A good way to keep up your energy through the day is to eat regular meals and healthy snacks every 3 to 4 hours, rather than a large meal less often.
You might feel that exercise is the last thing on your mind. But, in fact, regular exercise will make you feel less tired in the long run, so you'll have more energy.
Many people don't get the sleep they need to stay alert through the day.
Reduce stress to boost energy
Stress uses up a lot of energy. Try to introduce relaxing activities into your day. This could be working out at the gym, listening to music or reading and spending time with friends.
Whatever relaxes you will improve your energy.
The Royal College of Psychiatrists recommends that anyone feeling tired should cut out caffeine. It says the best way to do this is to gradually stop having all caffeine drinks over a 3-week period.
You may find that not consuming caffeine gives you headaches. If this happens, cut down more slowly on the amount of caffeine that you drink.
Drink more water for better energy
Sometimes you feel tired simply because you're mildly dehydrated. A glass of water will do the trick, especially after exercise.
Note: These are just self-help tips guys and it would be better if we consult our doctors if symptoms persist. God Bless and Stay Healthy!
