Definition #4 - Exucube (Exuberant Cube): A truncated cube, in which edges of octagonal faces are coloured by the order of all six exuberants. Each octagonal exuberant meets four others. The number of various possible types of exucube is 64. This is one of my mathematical constructs I made a subject of my painting. DISCRETINUUM is the bridge I paint between discrete determinants and continuum of possibilities. My abstract compositions have evolved over the years by reconciling contradictions. Every new dichotomy of racional and intuitive was more extreme and harder to join. Today I see my composition decisions as a mathematical variables, that may be discrete or continuous. Every time I set a system of rules, I expect certain results. And when I go with my intuition, emotions and imagination I have infinitely many, uncountable possibilities.
