I’m angry. My father was disfellowshipped after not being involved with the witnesses for four years because someone found a photo of him smoking a cigar online. Now his parents and siblings have rejected him and act as if he’s dead to them. One of the kindest most caring teenagers I’ve ever known who went through a very difficult childhood with little guidance got disfellowshipped at the age of eighteen and now has been cut off from all his friends and family that he’s ever known. His mother and family act like he’s dead to them. A dear friend of mine and single mother got reinstated so she could have her parents at her wedding and have them meet her son. Her fiancé, an extremely kind and generous man tried to get reinstated for two years so her parents could meet him and his son, but the elders refuse to reinstate him. Jehovahs Witnesses dont love people, they want to control them and if they can’t they destroy their relationships and all they’ve ever known.
