The 8th Anniversary of The Patriots! (and second anniversary of this site!)
this image was meticulously created over the course of October, originally meant to be Every possible Patriots character, but in its current form it's simply Most of them! Quality closeups and a link to a non-Tumblr-horribly-compressed version below the line! (+ some extra notes!)
Containing a whopping 78 characters from the Patriots' long and illustrious history that I mostly keep to myself and a random smattering of Discord servers throughout my youth! One guy was created WHILE I made the image and then thrown in! (it's the Polish jet guy), also here's the link to the original quality lol.
As usual with previous CK Days, esp on this site, I now take the time to talk about the comic, well, sad to say, work on issue 1 is currently on hiatus, I have other priorities in life and unfortunately my number one passion project cannot hold all of my attention...BUT, I hope to be more open about its world! Posting more doodles and such than on my horribly unclean art dump on my main account, if you follow my main account you might know that I now have a true blue art-only account on Bluesky! Where I'm trying to be more comfortable with posting random niche doodles, it's probably going to be the only outlet for Patriots content for the foreseeable future, but at least it's an outlet at all!
I love my stupid project, it's been 8 years since I've made it and it's been a big part of my life and livelihood every day since then, here's to many more!
The Central/Defense Intelligence Agency has been the world leader in costumed operations since its inception after WWIII
here’s the logo by itself
Inspired by black ops patches (the nonsensical motto, supposedly meant to mean “Freedom Throughout The Cosmos”, is literally taken from one), this logo worn by the CDIA’s agents both in public and in secret shows the world from an American perspective, as well as the location of the CDIA’s base (DC), the 6 stars (5 + 1 = 51) surround the Earth and form a question mark, symbolizing their allegiance to secrecy. The poster itself is rather obviously a riff on Walt Disney's "Our Friend The Atom" book cover.
The CDIA was formed out of the corporate merger of the CIA and the DIA after the disastrous Third World War in the 90s, the immediate new administration felt that the public needed the abandonment of secrets as well as the development of entirely new ones, if any of this sounds familiar this is because I had already posted this to my main blog and had resisted posting here for...honestly I have no idea, I plan to write much more comprehensive lore about...well, EVERYTHING very soon, but I also want to use this as an impromptu update, the site HAS been edited to reflect the latest designs and information if you can believe it! And I plan to have some more bios FINALLY out very very soon!
We're up-to-date except for (at the time I'm writing this) the character bio page which still has outdated icons but I'm working on that!!! The Patriots still exists I assure you! Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!
Such out of place artworks like this with minimal lore beyond the artpiece itself will have its own tag, uhhh, let's say #dishonorablementions as a reference to Not A Place Of Honor for some reason.
