A/N: If anyone had ever played the Rugrats game titled Rugrats Adventure Game for the PC, this short story has a huge reference to a funny exchange between Stu and Didi that would definitely fit Cuphead and Elder Kettle.

Today is Cuphead’s turn to take out the trash as he is seen lounging on the couch in the living room, reading a comic book rather than doing as Elder Kettle had asked him to do. Elder Kettle walks over Cuphead, who was reading is comic book some more.

Elder Kettle: Cuphead, the trash is callin’ your name. 🙂

Cuphead: You can’t fool me, Elder Kettle. Trash can’t talk. 🙄

Elder Kettle: (bluntly) Trust me; ours is about to. 😒

Cuphead: Then maybe it’ll start walkin’ too and head on out to the front yard on its own, too. Hehehehe. 😄

Elder Kettle: (not amused as he looks at Cuphead sternly, crossing his arms) 🤨

Cuphead: Okay, okay, I’m going. 😮‍💨 (stands up and walks away to take out the trash)

As he was doing some grocery shopping, Elder Kettle carted his shopping cart full of his groceries into the cereal aisle, stopping in front of some shelves full of some brand called “Corrugated Branpuffs”.

At the corner of each box says “Buy one, get one free”.

Elder Kettle: “Corrugated Branpuffs”… 🤨

He walks up to a box, holding his shopping list.

Elder Kettle: (sarcastically) Sounds tasty. 🙄 (Disgustedly) Yecch! 🤢

Ignoring the box, he leaves the shelves of the Corrugated Branpuffs to find a better brand of cereal.
