i mean if you want my personal opinion on it i guess
i uh... it worries me is the gist of it. that level and kind of codependency with that age gap between a teenager and an adult is something i’m very familiar with and it can cause a lot of psychological issues (many of which i’m still recovering from)
and while i guess we can take solace in the fact that it’s not like it’s a romantic/sexual relationship, i think that the level of attachment these two have to each other isnt healthy, especially considering they live together and wyatt plans on having legal guardianship over him. that level of power over someone who is barely 18 after years of being somewhat of a surrogate father to him in a really dependent way is... it feels really scary to me
and while this doesn’t necessarily have to do with the main issue, i thought that the way prin handled alex’s criticisms (especially using art/subjects he drew 6 years ago as a traumatized teenager and trying to use ad hominem and act like alex was only creeped out because ‘he has daddy issues’, what the hell) was super immature, especially for someone who is older than me
tl;dr i think that it’s not healthy but there’s nothing i can do about it because it’s not my life and i’m not the boss of wyatt or prin’s “son”. take what you will from that
