"I love princesses. And I think Cinderella is very strong. She's a young woman thinking outside of her environment, outside of her current situation, and she is choosing to believe that all is possible for her. And I think that is so admirable." — Keke Palmer
A very ancient folk tale with several different versions throughout the world, probably has it's more popular version written by Charles Perrault, adapted to animation by Disney in 1950. Her name in French, Cendrillon, was a mocking nickname given by her stepsisters due her being covered in ashes in an attempt to stay warm by the fireplace after finishing her shores for the day.
I choose to make her surrounded by iris flowers since they're the national flower of France and they mean nobility, chivalry, wisdom, faith, and purity, all characteristics very suitable to Cinderella.
