While disposing used masks, you should throw it in a Garbage Bag after washing it off from warm water.
That garbage bag should be well packed while throwing it in garbage bin or handing over to garbage pickers.
Used masks and gloves are highly contagious and should not be touched bare handedly by anyone.
Additional care for different types of Masks/ Gloves:
If you are using Cloth Mask, you should wash it after every use in a washing machine before reuse. Hot water and regular laundry detergent should do the trick to decontaminate the mask for your next wear. While removing your gloves do not touch exposed part of your hands. Drag a corner of any finger with another hand and wrap both the gloves in a garbage bag and pack it properly so that it will not come out. These precautions are highly important to be followed by every citizen if they want this disease to come to an end. Always wash your hands after this for at least 20 seconds to decontaminate your hands after you touch the mask.
Do not bring down your mask to chin or touch it with bare hands near your mouth or nasal area. If you want to eat/ drink or want to do any activity, then remove it completely. Simply remove by pinching it out from one side apart from the area near mouth and nose.
