Musa Khan, a close associate of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who was arrested on charges of disproportionate assets, was honorably acquitted. According to details, a close associate of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and former DFO Musa Khan was arrested in the Excess Assets case in 2020 and has been honorably acquitted by the accountability court. The accountability court in its brief judgment said that a reference was filed in the accountability court by NAB against four persons including government official Musa Khan but NAB could not prove the allegations so they are honorably acquitted.
