Sorry I have been dead aaaaaaaa
Been writing. A lot.
Here's a little snippet with @thecherrylady 's Raph and Tide BAM 💥 TW turtle boys smooching
The crowd roared.
Strobe lights sliced through smoke, music pulsed across the venue, and Tide—Tide was drenched in glitter. His curls shimmered with it, clinging to sweat-slicked skin. His eyeliner and lipstick were smudged in a way that looked intentional. His clothes caught every flash of light, making him look ethereal. Alive.
He was electric. On fire. A storm in heels.
Raph watched from backstage, arms crossed but eyes locked on him with a look caught between awe and something softer, heavier. His heart pounded like a second drum.
Tide onstage was a different creature—untouchable, magnetic, soaked in sweat and sparkles and pure adrenaline. It was stupidly hot.
And now?
The final chord rang out. The lights dimmed. The crowd went feral.
Tide blew a kiss, bowed, and half-stumbled offstage, beaming wide and flushed and breathless. The moment he was out of sight, he spotted Raph and made a direct beeline. He looked like a cosmic mess—radiant and half-delirious.
“Raph—” he gasped, lunging forward and nearly collapsing into him.
“I got you,” Raph grunted, catching him with one arm and handing over a water bottle with the other, offering it as Tide sagged into him like a star that had just burned through its last bit of fuel. “There’s my boy.”
“Thank you,” Tide panted, unscrewing the bottle with shaky fingers. He downed half in one go, then let out a deep, hoarse sigh. “I feel like my bones are made of glitter.”
“You always this dramatic after a show?”
“Shut up, I’m glamorous.”
They stood in a side corridor, tucked away from the rush of crew and gear being shuffled for the next set. Tide leaned into Raph, still buzzing from the performance, still catching his breath—but quieter now. Softer.
“Did you like it?” he asked, voice a little raspy from screaming lyrics for two hours straight.
Raph leaned in, brushing a strand of glitter-streaked hair off Tide’s face. “You were insane.”
Tide grinned. “Good insane?”
“The best kind.”
Tide leaned forward, resting his head on Raph’s chest as his breathing evened out. “God, you always smell good,” he mumbled. “How is that fair?”
“Stage glitter’s gonna ruin my hoodie, huh?”
“You love it,” Tide huffed, pulling back just enough to show that dazed look in his eyes. “Don’t lie.”
Raph didn’t even try.
Tide cackled, then shifted, closing his eyes against Raph’s plastron again. “Gimme five minutes and I’ll be normal again.”
“No rush.”
Techs bustled around them, voices shouted instructions—but in that little sliver of space behind the curtain, Raph slipped a hand around Tide’s waist, tugging him out of the worst of the chaos.
He found a darker corner, near the stairs to the dressing rooms, half-hidden in shadow. Tide was still riding the high, eyes wild, but his hands had started to stop trembling.
“You good?” Raph murmured, brushing a knuckle under his jaw.
Tide looked up at him, eyes shimmering. “Better now.”
He pulled Raph in before he could reply, kissing him. It started slow, lips dragging, teasing—like he’d been waiting all night for his reward. Raph hummed into the kiss, surprised, but melted into it easily, hands settling at Tide’s waist.
Tide’s fingers slid under Raph’s jaw, a little desperate, teeth catching slightly on his lip, mouth open and needy in that post-show high.
He lingered, breath warm against Raph’s skin as he pulled back only an inch. His eyes flicked up, something worshipful beneath it all. Then, soft, slow, he trailed a kiss down Raph’s cheek. His lips were still sticky with sparkly gloss, but Raph couldn't care. He barely breathed.
Another kiss, just under his jaw. Then one a little lower, right on the edge of his neck, where skin was sensitive and always made Raph’s breath hitch. Tide wasn’t shy about it either—his mouth open, damp, deliberate. His hands gripped Raph’s hips to steady himself, but Raph swore he was the one shaking.
Then lower still, right over the hollow of his throat, brushing his Adam’s apple, slow enough to leave a burn.
Raph’s fingers twitched at Tide’s sides. “Babe—”
A voice down the hall shouted, “Tide! Ten minutes, producer’s waiting!” One of the techs, calling casually, unaware.
Tide groaned against Raph’s neck, mouth forming a silent curse. “Buzzkill.”
With a theatrical sigh, he pressed one last kiss just beneath Raph’s jaw—lingering, reluctant. “Duty calls, Rockstar Boyfriend,” he murmured, voice hoarse and sweet with a smile. He started to pull back... pause.
His eyes widened slightly, gaze trailing over Raph’s neck and the flushed angles of his face. “Oh. Uh.” He winced, reaching up and hovering his fingers like he was debating whether to touch him again. “You… You got a little something.”
Raph blinked, still a little floaty, his brain sticky with heat and the scent of Tide’s cologne. “Glitter?”
Tide huffed out a laugh. “Sure. That too.”
Raph gave a lazy shrug, his smirk crooked and unfazed. “Worth it.”
Tide grinned, softer this time. “Meet you back with the others?”
Raph nodded. “Yeah. Don’t pass out on the way.”
“No promises,” Tide tossed over his shoulder—but then turned, taking Raph’s hand briefly again and pressing a slow, warm kiss to his knuckles.
And then, as if he couldn’t help himself, leaned down and kissed them again—this time with a smirk playing on his lips.
“For luck. You’ll need it.”
Raph returned to the others, not realizing how bad the glitter situation was until Mikey spotted him and shrieked like someone had been stabbed.
“Oh my god—” Mikey pointed. “He SPARKLES.” His eyes went wide, mouth full of whatever snack he’d found. “DUDE—”
Leo doubled over. “Oh my God, you look like someone threw you into a vat of craft supplies.”
Donnie squinted, voice rising. “Is that body glitter? It's all over you! And—are those lip prints?”
Raph, completely unfazed, just swiped glitter from his cheek and muttered, “Worth it.”
“You made out with a comet,” Mikey gasped. “An actual comet!”
Raph yawned, lips still tasting like cherry lip gloss and stardust. “Yup.”
Leo gave him a smug little shoulder bump. “Admit it, you’re smitten.”
Raph didn’t even argue.
They all stared at him. Then burst into howling laughter.
Mikey snorted. “Bro’s the real disco ball now.”
Raph rolled his eyes, dropping onto the couch like a war hero returning from battle.
Mikey threw a handful of chips at him. “This is true love. Disgusting.”
Raph smirked and slouched further into the cushions, glitter shining on his skin like battle medals.
“Damn right it is.”
“Raph.” Donnie leaned forward, deadpan. “Raph, you’re glowing—"
Raph didn’t even blink. “I’m thriving.”
