Allow your heart to stay open.
Stay open.
An open heart cannot be hurt.
On the contrary,
it is only with a closed heart that suffering follows.
It is only with an open heart that wisdom flows.

Here's what love is not:
It doesn't sound romantic and it's nothing like your rom coms. It's not a stroll in the park, with occasional fights and sacrifices, that progresses to compromises and losing your spark. This is why it feels like the initial flame and intensity dwindles after a while and what remains is co-existence— sharing the same space but not truly living together. You've idealised romance based on what you think it should be because of your media consumption— basically food for your ego. Love isn't a pat on the back for your ego. It's a dissolution of it so what you truly are can come forth and shine. You don't fall in love. The only thing that "falls" or dissolves is your ego.
Here's what love is:
It's a radical shift in your awareness, a daily awakening to the fullness of another being and the conscious choice to experience another being in their wholeness without judgement but discernment and to dissolve your ego into light. It's not about pleasing their ego with "romantic gestures" it's about feeding their being with soulful nourishment like sunlight. It doesn't drain you because it's not an exchange between giving and receiving but a boundless flow of energy that radiates when you are the living embodiment of light. It's not for the weak, the desperate, the broken or the egotistical ones. It's for the warriors of light. The former will drain you in toxic relationships because they are busy playing small like parasites. The latter will fuel you because they embody the wholeness of being human.

Most people aren't ready for love. Here's why:
They are looking for an ego boost in the name of acceptance and validation in the name of comfort.
Love inspires growth and evolution. Ego requires comfort and acceptance.
Only when you're truly ready to face yourself, are you ready for love. Otherwise, you're a walking projection and every person you meet is another excuse to run away from yourself.

Allow people's opinions about you to pass by like clouds. Their beauty lies in your observation of their impermanence, without being clouded by them.

You don't know what you do not know until what you do not know knows you, sees you, feels you, reads you and sits with you— until you recognise it without the need to give it a label, a name or attach any meaning to that which beacons to be experienced with your beingness— in that space of shared understanding you become infinite where the unknown is no longer a mystery but a tapestry of existence.

You can't lose something you can never own. Relationships are about partnerships not ownerships.
