The last time @lcbyuri ran away from danger, the guilt from the event strangled her and continues to do so today. Remnants of her past cling onto her, blind her judgement and hold her down so she can only watch as those around her fall like the building, like the bodies.
And... she's a coward, and she's terribly insecure, and she lets peoples' words affect her too much. She's afraid of doing the wrong thing, so much so that it handicaps her more often than not, leaving her missing out on so many things and so many people. Certainly, she's afraid now, as she hesitantly steps into the weakpoint of the backdoor and crosses into her second home, tasting the air tinged with sorrow and terror. She's afraid as her eyes adjust to the light and she sees the aftermath of a rampage, the guiding violet light turned into a warning. She's afraid as she comes close enough to become involved as opposed to being a bystander.
Last time, she ran away. Because of it, she lives encaged. But now...
She's unarmed, with only her words as her sword and shield, and she knows that will be enough.
The ragged cocoon shifts and loosens. It had not changed at all. Upon hearing her voice, however, the violet gaze softens in intensity. Even as a distortion, he always had a trickle of humanity that he held dear. It turned to face her.
"Yuri...?" It softly murmurs.
Its body arches down to meet her level. Its voice had noticeably softened. It was more... quiet than before.
