so I checke∂ the blue umbrella tag, because I was hoping to fin∂ something similar to my umbrella (it makes for a marvelous strife weapon!) but it seems that an absolutely a∂orable short film has taken over the tag! c'est très romantique!

an∂ it is probably for the best that no one has an umbrella quite like mine. ever seen Troll Kingsmen?

to∂ay was amazing.

as it so happens, we are on leave! on an Empire-maintaine∂ planet, of course. actually, this is one of the main Aca∂emy planets! I ha∂ offere∂ to give a lecture—anyway, much more importantly, I was wan∂ering aroun∂ campus (an∂ no I was not lost! this was after the lecture) when I happene∂ to see a sort of hutch?

the kin∂ you might expect for a hopbeast, actually. only!! there were purrbeasts sitting in it!!

it turns out the stu∂ents leave foo∂ an∂ water out for them, an∂ there are actually quite a few purrbeasts there? they seem to live in a little hollow behin∂ one of the cooling ventilation apparatuses. it looks to be a very nice hi∂eout, with bushes and shrubbery all aroun∂ it, an∂ a patch of concrete just outsi∂e that probably gets nice an∂ warm in the sun!

I spotte∂...oh, about three or four ∂ifferent a∂ult purrbeasts? an∂ there were babies.

2. How old are you? just a bit over 11 sweeps! been out of the Aca∂emy for a while now, actually!

3. How would you describe yourself, as a whole, in ten words? ohhh man—wait that ∂oes not count hang on, uh. ... PASS.

4. What’s your favorite food? ∂essert. also, loukouma∂es!

5. How do you feel about your job situation? I LOVE MY JOB. a∂mitte∂ly, it involves a lot of traveling, but I have gotten so much better at that. besi∂es, I get to hear so many languages an∂– ∂i∂ I forget to say what my job is?? I happen to be a linguist! for the Empire, actually, I am with a cataloging squa∂! ((He also enjoys his other job of working for the Rebellion.))

6. What’s your most treasured possession? ah, well. hah. uhm. my umbrella. yeah.

7. What’s your favorite song? this song! I actually have a whole playlist, but I think I nee∂ to up∂ate it...

8. If you could meet anyone in the world, from any time, who would it be? ...I am not entirely certain I shoul∂ answer this. ((The Disciple.))

What are your most and least favorite things about yourself? hmmm. most favorite...oh, well! it ∂epen∂s if you want to tilt superficial or not. so I will say, my eyes an∂ horns for most favorite, an∂ for least favorite, my voice? oh an∂ having to wear glasses. ((Most Favorite: Ability to hide in plain sight. Least Favorite: Having to lie to the people he cares about, and being good at it. Glasses: He avoids wearing them, that liar.))

10. Can you tell us a little about what you’re wearing right now? sure! usually I wear the Imperial Uniform, with ∂esignations to fit my rank and job, but I happen to be off ∂uty! right now I am in, uh...oh! a button ∂own shirt (sort of a soft grey!), an∂ I have this ∂ark grey vest over it (∂ressing up a little for my pale∂ate), an∂ jeans! I ∂i∂ roll the sleeves up. just a bit!

11. Are you in a relationship? I have the best palemate in the world, Eusale Cohlee! an∂ an ashen, an∂ a pitch. ... (an∂ there I may or may not have a flushcrush on my Comman∂er.)

12. Can you tell us about a certain piece of juicy gossip that’s been going around? oooh, gossip? you shoul∂ tell me! I love hearing all the news! in tra∂e: apparently, there might be a blue/maroon pair—an∂ the maroon has no powers. but the blue ∂oes! might be interesting to follow their paths...
