मंडी जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष के चुनावों में पॉलिटिकल ड्रामा किया जा रहा है और केवल चंपा ठाकुर और कांग्रेस पार्टी की छवी को खराब करने का प्रयास भाजपा के द्वारा किया जा रहा है। यह बात मंडी जिला परिषद की पूर्व अध्यक्षा चंपा ठाकुर ने पहली बार आयोजित पत्रकार वार्ता में कही। उन्होंने कहा कि पहले तो भाजपा के समर्थित जिला परिषद के सदस्यों ने बिना किसी ठोस कारण के उनके खिलाफ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव पारित किया और फिर उस पर चर्चा भी नहीं होने दी।
