not much happened after the party with devon, though they had a great night together. sage was grateful to finally learn more about him. sage always had eyes on him. a harmless crush. it’s hard to deny that he’s crossed her mind a few times since then. at the end of the night the two exchanged numbers. after playing it cool for about a week she caved and texted him. sage texted devon, inviting him over to watch a movie. to her surprise he actually said yes. his response illicit an immediate childish shriek and screenshots to her friends. it was nice to have a little evidence after her friends could hardly believe that she, after all this time, caught his attention. when devons pulls into sage’s driveway she hurries to the door to welcome him inside. “thanks for coming over” she grins, eyeing him down. “i thought you might be missing me already so i thought i should invite you over.” there’s something very flirtatious about the way sage teases him. she turns on her heels of her feet and trails off to the kitchen. “are you hungry? there’s food -- lots. i’m starving.” there were a couple boxes of pizza, garlic bread, and wings assorted on the table. “pick your poison, i really couldn’t decide.” she grabs a piece of garlic bread before opening the refrigerator and revealing a bottle of tequila. “here, i got this for you.” she can’t help but to giggle. “i figure it’s the least i can do since i killed that bottle at your house.”
