“I told you they were despicable, didn’t I?”
The Wizard King didn’t want to say he told him so, but upon seeing the thief in front of him, he had to assume he’d seen for himself how awful the elves were.
“You can’t reason with them. They just don’t know how to listen.”

“Why’s he got all this dusty stuff on him?”
Butters asked as he carefully pet the large, fluffy animal on his friend’s shoulder. He’d never been this close to Wallace before, having always seen him in the cage. His hand kept brushing against all these little hard pieces of something, and he didn’t know what they were.

“So...you’re back. Didn’t think I’d see you again...”
Turning from his monitors, the Coon gazed toward his former ally. He’d gathered so many of them since the Freedom Pals had absorbed the rest of what had been Coon and Friends. He couldn’t help but feel resentment toward them, most of all Mysterion, Doctor Timothy, and Agent Arcana for convincing them away.
“Tell me, Wallflower... What are you doing here?”
@distrustnbetrayal:
“I… honestly didn’t even know… or I didn’t pick up on it. Haha, silly right? People make this stereotype that ‘we’ can pick up on people just like us– but sometimes I can get it wrong from time to time.”
Jon gave a light smile to Kyle, comforting in its solemn look knowing exactly what pain these secrets held.
"Don’t worry… your secret is safe with me… just as long… as you keep mine a secret too— okay? Most people don’t know— but that’s for a good reason— which I’m sure its the same case for you..~“
Kyle tried to suppress a terrified sniff. He still didn’t know how to deal with someone knowing. He held onto his arms, his hands shaking. He appreciated that Jon wasn’t freaking out, and he couldn’t help but feel at ease with this new knowledge. Knowing he wasn’t the only one made him feel better about it. He’d been hiding for so long, and letting it out gave him a sense of relief as well.
“Y-You really won’t tell...?”

“Bro...What are you doing?”
Quinn looked down, her eyes taking in a horrifying sight. It was a spoon. Why on earth was Jon shoving a spoon into her stomach? She was surprised at the feeling and force it could inflict.
“Ouch?”
She sounded more confused than pained.
@distrustnbetrayal:
“Is that so– Elven King..?”
It would make sense. He watched the Elven King jump from rock to rock, water splashing against his paler skin. It wasn’t really clear to Jon as to why the King wasted their time coming here– but he wouldn’t question. It wasn’t his place to question that of a king.
As the thief rolled back his pants, he felt his arm being tugged, and soon—
S P L O O S H !!!
Coming back to the surface of the river, grumbling left Jon’s lips as the Elven King rolled in laughter. The thief sighed and got himself up, smirking lightly as a clone of his dunked the King soon after. Shouldn’t let down your guard~.
As he was unceremoniously dumped into the rushing water, he couldn’t help but laugh. When he resurfaced, he shook his head and quieted his laughter to a small chuckle, knowing it wasn’t proper of him to be so loud. He pulled himself back onto one of the rocks and wrung out the bottom of his tunic, a dark green color and much shorter than his usual attire. He looked much less like a king and more like the average elf, minus the crown that still sat on his head.
The Elf King slid his feet back in the water and closed his eyes. It was hot enough out that a dip into the river felt nice.
“I will remember that...”
He stood, his arms out to his sides though he didn’t need their help to balance. Pivoting on the ball of his foot, he leapt to a rock closer to Jon. He reached down and splashed a fair amount of water toward him playfully, chuckling to himself.
“We refer to the river as the lifestream of the forest. As long as it flows, life carries from one point to another.”
The king sat down on the rock, letting his hand dangle in the current. It sure felt alive as it flowed between his fingers.
“He tried his best! Cut him some slack!”
