Dr. Hussman: I’m glad you’re finally coming in. Have you been taking vitamins? Eating healthier?

Gemma: I have... I know I should’ve come in a lot sooner but it was..... hard. Am I a terrible mom?

Dr. Hussman: Of course not! In some cases women don’t even know they’re pregnant until they go into labor. That doesn't make them bad moms. Don’t stress yourself, the babies are doing quite well. Good job getting vitamins and keeping yourself healthy.

Gemma: Okay... Thank you... wait. Babies? As in plural of baby?

Dr. Hussman: Ahah yes it’s twins! Probably should’ve lead with that.

Gemma: Wh-wh oh god.

Dr. Hussman: I take it you weren’t expecting that, most mothers don’t. Do twins run in your family?

Gemma: Uh yeah actually, my dad is a twin.

Dr. Hussman: Ah yes that’d explain it.
