Progress update on "Exuvia"!
Last week I shared the lineart, and this week I've been focusing on building up the shadows and giving this creature some volume. It's always a satisfying step to see the initial drawing start to take on a more three-dimensional feel.
I'm particularly interested in capturing the intricate details of its form and the way light interacts with its surface. Still lots to refine, but I'm excited about where this is heading!

Found this old sketch in my archives! I never got around to finishing it, but there's something about its raw energy and the feeling it evokes that I still connect with. It's like a glimpse into a world I only partially created.

Progress update on the "Pallid Whisper"! The shading is going well, and I'm starting to get a better sense of its overall presence. I'm aiming to have this completed by the end of next week.

Latest WIP on Wyrmfang Grin! Progress this week has been quite a bit slower than I'd planned. Dealing with my mental health has made it hard to get to the tablet and find the will to work.
But I'm still chipping away at it, and I'm happy with the small progress I've managed to make. It's a reminder that even when things feel difficult, moving forward a little is still moving forward.
Fresh off the digital canvas! Introducing my newest creature sketch: "Wyrmfang Grin". Right now, she's all lineart, caught in a prowling stance, with a fascinating snarl-and-smile expression.
Honestly, I'm really feeling the excitement for this one! Hoping it stays with me through the coloring process. What are your first impressions?
Latest WIP on "The Veil-Hound"! This past week has seen some slow progress. I ended up reworking parts of the neck because it wasn't quite sitting right, and shifted focus to other areas for a "change of scenery" while the arm awaits its full completion.
It's tough when you have to go back, but it's always worth it for the final result. Still deep in the process of bringing this shadowy figure to life!
