IA glanced at her watch--thirty minutes before class began. She sighed, leaned back in her hard and uncomfortable seat, and closed her eyes. IA's dream world took her so many places--away from people, things, problems. Anything. And everything. She loved it.
Today, her dream world took her to a far far off planet where time was just anew. Her mind danced among the stars, from galaxy to galaxy, tiptoeing across black holes. She danced far and wide and traveled through forests of neon-pink lava trees and carnivorous pinecones. Aliens, she though. the only race freakier than my mind.
But all wreaked havoc when the alien emergency horn went off and the alien pinecones and alien trees began screaming like a little toddler. IA's eyes flickered open. "Oh," she groaned, collecting her mind back from the galaxies. "it was jut the bell, class was just starting."
Predictably, the short little girl bolted off through the library's doors. I presume now is the best time to mention IA is terrible with directions. Okay, okay, room 1-wait, where am I? Oh no..oh god...not on my first day...
A red haired girl passed her sight on the staircase. On intuition, IA chased after her, whisper-shouting a repeated 'Hey! Hey!' When she caught up to her--about a flight up--she gingerly tapped her shoulder. Panting and sweating, she managed to say; "Excuse me, but where the heck am I?"
